Please join us September 15th from 1-4 pm at Lovers Point Park in Pacific Grove, CA for the 5th AIM for Awareness Walk and Rally!
The mission of the AIM for Awareness Walk and Rally is to raise awareness of youth mental health in the community, including resources and services offered by local community organizations. The aim is to help kids NOW by hosting an event where fun activities are combined with critical mental health resources. We want to provide tools that help youth understand and manage any mental health challenges they might face. The event features exhibitors, speakers, food and beverage, games, activities and more.
The event begins with registration and checkin at 1 PM followed by a brief welcome ceremony.
We will begin the (optional) walk at 1:30 and finish with games, music and exhibitors in Lovers Point Park.
We have all been touched in some way by the heartbreaking realities of youth mental health. The truth is it’s a growing epidemic with 1 in 5 children, teens, and young adults struggling with their mental health. Yet there is a stigma around the topic. So let’s end the silence, let’s talk about youth mental health, let’s start effecting real change.
