First Tee’s tagline is "Building Game Changers". As you all know, I'm passionate about First Tee's mission. My job is to increase awareness of our mission across the Upstate of South Carolina. I also apply their values in my personal life.
This fall, I'm working on being a Game Changer. I'm checking off one of my dreams of running the NYC Marathon AND getting to do so while helping others. I'm honored to join the PGA REACH NYC Marathon team. We're busy training for the 26.2 miles ahead of us while also helping to support the truly wonderful work PGA REACH is doing.
All runners are raising funds to help:
Fund scholarships for junior golfers participating in PGA Jr. League;
Support PGA HOPE which helps veterans with disabilities use golf as a way to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing; and
Help PGA WORKS implement initiatives that are diversifying the PGA workforce
Please JOIN ME. My goal is lofty, $6,000. The first $3,000 raised will go to the support PGA REACH at a National and local level across the Carolinas Section. All other monies raised over $3,000 will go back directly to our First Tee - Upstate South Carolina Chapter.
I'm training to make my dream a reality -- crossing that finish line. PGA REACH & First Tee — Upstate South Carolina is already making people's dreams come true through scholarship, health and opportunities.
