It is with great pleasure that we share we're chosen as this years March of Dimes Ambassador Family for the Signature Chefs Gala!
For those of you who don't know, I spent 9 days in and out of the hospital after testing positive for preterm labor at 29 weeks. Shortly after, Brian and I welcomed our daughter, Avery June, into the world at 31 weeks old. She then spent 50 long days at the NICU.
All of this took place 3 days after Brian and I opened our first brick and mortar, Madi's on a Roll. Balancing work, our new addition to the family, our home, all while trying taking care of ourselves, was the hardest time we've been through. Luckily for us, we had resources all around us.
We joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
