2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon supporting March of Dimes

I had my 1st child 3 weeks early after a very difficult pregnancy. I am fundraising and running the Chicago Marathon to raise awareness for maternal and baby care.
Welcome to my fundraising page for the March of Dimes as I take on the Chicago Marathon! This marathon holds a special place in my heart, not just because it marks my first marathon, but because it symbolizes a journey that's deeply personal.
During my pregnancy, I faced the challenges of high blood pressure and teetered on the edge of pre-eclampsia. It was a trying time, one that made me acutely aware of the struggles many mothers face and the fragility of premature babies.
Today, I'm immensely grateful to have a healthy, thriving 1-year-old boy. His well-being is a testament to the invaluable support and care I received. But not every family is as fortunate.
I'm running this marathon for the first time, not just for personal achievement, but to raise awareness and support for better maternal care and healthier beginnings for all babies. The March of Dimes has been at the forefront of this mission, providing resources, research, and advocacy to ensure that every mother and baby receives the best possible start.
Your contribution will make a tangible difference in the lives of families facing similar challenges. Together, let's support access to quality healthcare, research advancements, and education that can change outcomes for mothers and babies.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Your generosity and support mean the world.
With heartfelt gratitude,
