Battle of the Bats

Step up to the plate and join Special Olympics Colorado for the fourth annual Battle of the Bats! This co-ed, community-wide recreational softball tournament is more than just a game—it's an opportunity to raise essential funds for athletes with intellectual disabilities across Colorado.

This exciting event is open to everyone, including corporate teams, who are encouraged to field their own teams. Special Olympics Colorado athletes will be at the heart of the action, taking on roles as volunteers, fans, play-by-play announcers, and more!

Tournament Details:

• Format: Co-ed teams of 10-15 players will compete in a recreational softball tournament.
• Gameplay: Teams will engage in pool play before moving into a single-elimination bracket (with a guarantee of at least 3 games per team).
• Perks: All participants will receive an exclusive Battle of the Bats t-shirt.

We’re also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with team check-in, scorekeeping, and various event operations. Your support will help ensure the day runs smoothly and is a memorable experience for all involved.
