2026 Front Range Regional Golf

Join Us as a Volunteer for the Annual Special Olympics Colorado Front Range Regional Golf Tournament!

Tee up for a day of inclusion and celebration on the course! Volunteers are a vital part of making this golf event successful—helping to guide athletes, track scores, and create a supportive environment as athletes showcase their skills.

VOLUNTEER ROLES INCLUDE:

• Scoring Assistants: Walk with athletes to record scores accurately (training provided—no golf experience needed)

• Pace of Play Monitors: Ensure athletes are progressing smoothly through the course

• Start & Finish Support: Assist with athlete staging and transitions

• Awards Assistants: Help organize and present medals and ribbons

• General Event Support: Assist with set-up, check-in, equipment needs, and end-of-day tear-down

📅 Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026

📍 Location: Aurora Hills Golf Course – 50 S Peoria St, Aurora, CO 80012

🚗 Parking: Free general parking available on-site

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

• Comfortable clothes (volunteer t-shirt provided)

• Closed-toe shoes (required – golf shoes or athletic shoes preferred)

• Water bottle to stay hydrated

• Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and other sun protection

VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS:

Need verification for school, work, or service requirements?

VOLUNTEER AGE GUIDELINES:

• Ages 16+ may volunteer independently

• Ages 8–15 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone

• Ages 7 and under may attend as cheerleaders with adult supervision (no volunteer duties assigned; no ticket required)

• Group Supervision: A 3:1 child-to-adult ratio is required for youth groups (e.g., schools, scouts)
