BETHANY HOUSE OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA SAFEHOUSE EXPANSION CAMPAIGN
Bethany House has been blessed to inherit a house from a long-time supporter Annie who recently passed away.
Annie's last wish for her home was that we convert it to a safe house for women fleeing domestic violence.
Your participation in this year's American Airlines Solidary Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness will support the Bethany House Safehouse Expansion Campaign.
This campaign will help Bethany House build the new safe house, which will double their capacity to serve women escaping domestic violence. The Expansion Campaign will also help Bethany House provide more shelter, counseling, career readiness training, health care, child care, and a wide variety of life advancement programming for women and children in their safe houses and Aftercare program!

HELP US BUILD A NEW DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SAFEHOUSE!
You can save lives by helping us to build a new safe house for women escaping domestic violence. A long-time Bethany House supporter willed her home to Bethany House with the request that it be converted into a safe house for victims of domestic violence.
Your participation in the Race to End Domestic Violence will benefit the Bethany House Safehouse Expansion Program. Funds will help us renovate the house and expand our entire organization to provide more shelter, counseling, health care, child care, career readiness training, and many more life advancement programs for women transitioning to safe, independent living.

Each year, we receive an average of 500 calls through our Helpline for women in our community seeking safe haven from abuse. Far too often, we have to turn women away who muster the courage to finally leave.
