Access Walk: Seattle to DC is a nationwide, all-virtual movement supporting people forced to travel for abortion care.

Between now and September 13, 2025, we are each aiming to walk 14 miles—the symbolic distance from Idaho to the nearest reproductive healthcare service provider—and raising $25 per mile to fund travel-related expenses like lodging, food, fuel, and childcare.

Our collective goal: cover 2,800 virtual miles (from Seattle to DC) and raise $70,000 in support of reproductive freedom.

Why We Walk

Access to reproductive healthcare has been stripped away for millions of people across the country. Some are forced to travel hundreds of miles, cross state lines, or delay urgent care—often without support.

Access Walk: Seattle to DC is about showing up from wherever we are. Every mile walked and every dollar raised helps cover real costs: gas, hotel rooms, childcare, and more.This is about compassion in motion. It’s about action for access. It’s about walking the walk.

How It Works

WALK 14 MILES

Walk on your own schedule in your own community—anytime between now and September 13, 2025.

RAISE $25 PER MILE

Ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor your walk—for a total of just $25 per mile = $350 total.

FORM A TEAM (OPTIONAL) 

Walking is more powerful together. Invite others to join your Team and walk toward justice as a group.
