About Ammon's Horn Society

In the middle of the brain lies a part of the temporal lobe called the Ammon’s Horn. Damage to the Hippocampus can result in medical temporal lobe epilepsy, hence the Ammon’s Horn Society. The mission of the Society is to build strong and lasting relationships by offering a unique space for cross-collaboration, networking and educational opportunity between the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA, local neurologists, and industry partners.

The Ammon’s Horn Society hosts a bi-annual meeting in the form of a cocktail reception, dinner program, and gathering held exclusively for eastern PA's top neurologists, epileptologists, specialists, and medical professionals in the epilepsy space.

You're invited to join us for the next Ammon's Horn Society meeting on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

The main feature of the dinner program is a twenty-minute presentation, followed by one case study, given by expert speakers selected by the EFEPA’s Professional Advisory Board (PAB). The presentation topics are brought forward by the PAB to discuss best practices and research findings from the epilepsy centers regarding the care of patients.
