Our partner in Pakistan runs a girl’s home, serving as a hostel for 40 orphaned and vulnerable girls. The girls are recommended to the home via local pastors. Most girls have a living parent but come from difficult homes, including abuse or child bride. They live with our partners during the school year, receiving care, discipleship, nourishing food, health care, and education. They experience value and worth that women in Muslim cultures often lack. In the summers or holidays breaks, they return to their family. It is common for them to be malnourished, sick, and often depressed upon returning due to the conditions at home. Our partners disciple hundreds of children through their weekly Sunday School. They also minister to families in brick slavery. Every year they redeem a woman from slavery.
(un)adopted partners with a husband and wife who run an after-school program for children in the slums of southern India. They run their program seven days a week and serve 150 children. The husband also serves as pastor for the local church where the children attend with their families. Many of these children still have a parent or guardian but come from impoverished and high-risk situations. This after-school center provides a safe place to hear about Jesus, receive nourishment, and strengthen their education.
They assist with homework, offer Bible studies, and provide a safe place for kids to play. They offer health checkups for the kids twice a year. Around Christmas, (un)adopted partners with this ministry to gift the children with new shoes.

Global Education is Lifeline's newest endeavor to provide resources to in-country teams and partners around the world! As our ministry serves over 29 countries through adoption and (un)adopted, our heart at Lifeline is to ensure that local believers are not only aware of the orphan care crisis in their community and what the gospel teaches regarding our involvement, but also are equipped to do the ministry the Lord has called them to do.
Through Global Education we are empowering the local church in each country by providing training, education, resources, and curriculum that they will be leading out in their own communities. Global Education will provide the means to support our partners all over the world through our various ministries at Lifeline.
