About Austin's Place Anniversary Matching Gift
Austin’s Place is celebrating the 5th anniversary of becoming a year round shelter as part of C-U at Home. To help us celebrate, a generous donor has given us $1000 to use as a matching gift. Make a donation January 15-16 and your gift will have double the impact until we meet our goal of $1000.
Austin’s Place is the woman’s program of C-U at Home. This residential “mid-barrier” program provides housing, support, and resources which help women go from surviving to thriving! Austin’s Place is named after Austin Cloyd who was killed in the mass shooting at Virginia Tech in 2007. We are honored to serve women as a part of Austin’s legacy of service.

How your Support Makes a Difference
What is One Winter Night?
This overnight event takes place on Friday, February 6, 2026. It gives participants the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and into the life of someone experiencing homelessness–for one night only. It is a powerful way to raise awareness of the root causes of homelessness and C-U at Homes’ Pathways to Progress program.
We invite you to be part of the movement to end homelessness--one person at a time!
