Local law enforcement personnel from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office are raising funds for Special Olympics Northern California. On September 26 & 27, they'll be collecting your spare change at the intersection of Lewelling Blvd. and Hesperian Blvd. with all proceeds supporting the sports, health, educational and athlete leadership programs that Special Olympics offers to children and adults with intellectual disabilities for free. These programs enrich the lives of participants, building confidence and self-esteem helping to make them contributing members in their communities.
Come out and say hi to your local law enforcement and donate your spare change (and more) to Special Olympics. Every dollar counts! You can change a life.
