How Your Support Makes a Difference

Every donation to Hospice Mississauga directly impacts families in our community, providing compassionate care and support during life's most challenging moments.

Consider the story of Sabrina, a 32-year-old Mississauga resident who, after a 15-year battle with cancer, chose to spend her final days in a hospice centre. Her mother, Ram, shared:

“When Arati told me Sabrina had chosen to spend her final days at a Hospice, I did not know what to say. I have been her nurse, her caregiver, and it was normal in our culture to die in the home, and I did not realize at that time the gift Sabrina was giving to me, to us.”

Sabrina's decision allowed her family to transition from caregivers to loved ones, focusing on being present and creating lasting memories. However, due to the lack of a dedicated hospice centre in Mississauga, they had to travel to Toronto to access this care.

Your support helps us bring such essential services closer to home. By contributing, you're ensuring that families like Sabrina's have access to the care they need within their own community, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—being together.

THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING SPONSORS
