Believe…

in early detection

Ellen Weisser

Thanks to the equipment the newly named Nancy Varner Women’s Health Center of Redlands Community Hospital was able to purchase because of grants from Stater Bros Charities and Inland Women Fighting Cancer, I was diagnosed the day after I discovered the lump in my left breast.

No one was more surprised than I was. I just always assumed cancer was something other people got. Not me. Boundless is my gratitude to Cathy Stockton, Annie Sellas, and sweet Nancy Varner, who sadly lost her fight to ovarian cancer.

I couldn’t have done it without my wonderful husband, Stan. And, you know, we have never been more in love than we are now. I’m one lucky girl!
