I was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 35. I am a mom to three girls and a wife to a wonderful husband. Through it all, I believe in finding joy every single day: whether that is enjoying a beautiful sunset, eating a fun treat, talking with a friend, or laughing with my kids.

There is so much uncertainty with oncology appointments, so after every doctor's visit, I make sure to do something that makes me happy. I intentionally reclaim part of my day for something I love.

Today, I am a 4-year breast cancer survivor. I facilitate a coffee group for young cancer survivors where we laugh, cry, celebrate victories, and encourage each other through setbacks. Becoming an advocate and a voice for young survivors brings me joy every day.
