Believe…

in Courage, Strength, and Hope

Isabella Sierra

At 13 years old, Isabella Sierra is a shining example of resilience and courage. Before cancer entered her life, Bella was an excited 10-year-old looking forward to everything fourth grade had to offer. She had just joined her first soccer team and bravely stepped outside her comfort zone by signing up for her school’s broadcast program, hoping to build confidence and make new friends.

In October 2022, after months of unexplained bruising, petechiae, and changes in appetite, Bella’s life changed forever. Following an emergency visit prompted by vomiting blood and swollen gums, she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).

Treatment meant long hospital stays, months away from school, and heartbreaking separation from her brothers due to COVID restrictions. Hospital rooms became a second home, and simple family moments became precious treasures.

Through every challenge, Bella faced each day with incredible bravery. Her strength inspired her entire family to keep moving forward, celebrate every victory, and hold onto hope. Today, Bella’s courage continues to remind everyone around her that even in life’s hardest moments, hope and love can shine the brightest.
