Two years ago, while being prepared for a medical procedure, I learned through routine screening that I had prostate cancer.
As a disabled senior citizen living on a fixed income, the cost of treatment was something I simply could not have handled on my own. A friend who had previously received help from the Desert Cancer Foundation encouraged me to contact them, and I am very grateful that I did. The Desert Cancer Foundation responded quickly to my application and helped make sure my treatment could begin right away.
Throughout this process, everyone at the Foundation has been kind, respectful, and very helpful. They took care of the paperwork and payment details, so I did not have to worry about how everything would be managed while dealing with cancer treatment.
