BMW Berlin Marathon 2025 supporting National Ovarian Cancer Coalition

Last September, my girlfriend Kate's mother, Sally Trosset, passed away from ovarian cancer after a four-year battle. Though I only knew her for two and a half years, I realized upon first introduction that she was one of those people that made you feel as if you'd known each other for far longer.
She and I really bonded over music. As a professional guitarist, I was slightly nervous to have conversations about my unpredictable career path with Kate's parents. With Sally, it always felt like she genuinely was excited about the songs I was writing, people I was playing with, and shows that I performed.
I could only do so much from afar this summer as Sally's health started to decline. Sometimes, Kate would put Sally on the phone and I'd be able to talk to her for just a few sentences back and forth.
I'm running the 2025 Berlin Marathon in support of her legacy, her family, and the NOCC as a whole. I see this as a way to honor Sally by doing one of the things that she loved most: running.
Any and all donations are sincerely appreciated - thank you so much for your support!
