Get your team together and walk in solidarity with those affected by domestic violence!
We're asking (not requiring) each participant to raise at least $200 to support Bethany House in providing safe shelter and life-rebuilding services to women and children escaping domestic violence!
Each participant will have her or his own walk website that is easily shareable to gain support!
Walk Day Information
The walk will begin at the new Bethany House headquarters at
6862 Elm Street, McLean, Virginia 22101.
From there, we will follow the route across the street to McLean Central Park where we will observe the Silent Witness Stories. We will continue the route to McLean Community Center where we'll enjoy a catered lunch, present team and individual awards, and here from survivors of domestic violence who have overcome because of support from Bethany House!

Bethany House has been blessed to inherit a house from a long-time supporter Annie who recently passed away.
Annie's last wish for her home was that we convert it to a safe house for women fleeing domestic violence.
Your participation in this year's Bethany House Solidary Walk for Domestic Violence Awareness will support the
Bethany House Safehouse Expansion Campaign.
This campaign will help Bethany House open the new safe house, which will double our capacity to serve women and children escaping domestic violence. The Expansion Campaign will also help Bethany House provide more staff, shelter, counseling, career readiness training, health care, child care, and a wide variety of life advancement programming for women and children in our Residential, Aftercare, and Community programs!

HELP US OPEN OUR NEW DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SAFEHOUSE!
You can save lives by helping us open our new safe house for women escaping domestic violence. A long-time Bethany House supporter willed her home to Bethany House with the request that it be converted into a safe house for victims of domestic violence.
Your participation in the Domestic Solidarity Walk will benefit the Bethany House Safehouse Expansion Program. Funds will help us furnish the house and expand our entire organization to provide more shelter, counseling, health care, child care, career readiness training, and many more life advancement programs for women transitioning to safe, independent living.
