2021 Big Shots Supporting Little Tots Un-Luncheon supporting Immunize Colorado

Immunize Colorado has been supporting vaccine access, education, and acceptance for decades before COVID19. #VaccinesWork
Immunize Colorado works to help protect Colorado families, schools and communities from vaccine-preventable diseases through outreach and awareness building, education efforts, and policy work. During the month of November, I'm helping raise funds to support their critical work. I hope you will join me by making a donation to my fundraiser!
I have worked with Immunize Colorado on vaccine education, advocacy, and research projects for many years and I was excited to join the board of directors in 2020.
Immunize Colorado has been doing this work for twenty years now, long before COVID-19 made vaccines a hot topic. Their work has expanded in recent years to include adult as well as childhood immunizations and to build on community partnerships with a focus on vaccine equity across the state. The Colorado Vaccine Equity Taskforce (https://www.coloradovaccineequity.org/) has been highlighted as a model at the national level for their approach to engaging in community dialogues around and ensuring access to COVID-19 vaccination. Immunize Colorado has partnered with AmeriCorps to host the Colorado Immunity Corps, placing VISTA Immunization Education and Outreach Coordinators with public health partners across the state. Educational efforts include regular webinars and lunch-and-learns for health care professionals and extensive online resources, like this thorough FAQ on COVID-19 vaccines: https://www.immunizecolorado.org/healthcare-professionals/covid-19/covid-19-vaccine-faq.
Please consider donating this November to support the #BigShotsUnLuncheon. We won't be lunching in person this year, but your donation will ensure that Immunize Colorado can continue their meaningful work in the future.
Thank you for your support!
