I am riding in the 5 Boro Bike Tour for Team Boomer and the cystic fibrosis community!
This is a charity near and dear to our hearts. Scott Buchanan has lived with CF for over three decades (a disease that affects the lungs and digestive system). Even with CF, Scott ran the NYC marathon a few years back with Team Boomer.
What is Team Boomer
Team Boomer is the athletic division of the Boomer Esiason Foundation. (Former NY Jet quarterback Boomer Esiason's son has CF)
How does Team Boomer help?The money raised by our Team Boomer helps fund our scholarships, transplant grants, disaster relief program, and a number of educational resources.
