We believe a world free from cancer is possible. That’s why we created Bounce Back from Cancer™, a game-changing partnership between The Miami HEAT and Baptist Health Foundation to raise funds for new lifesaving cancer research at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute.
Baptist Health Foundation is dedicated to inspiring philanthropy to support Baptist Health, a not-for-profit healthcare organization committed to medical excellence and the health, well-being and extraordinary care of our South Florida communities.
Now in its sixth year, Bounce Back from Cancer™ brings our community together on a 14.2, 6 or 2 mile (your choice) basketball dribble through the streets of Miami, to the Kaseya Center to raise critical funds for breakthrough cancer research and clinical trials. Last year’s event raised over $4.1 million dollars. Bounce Back from Cancer™ 2025 promises to be bigger and better than ever, as we shoot for the moon with a goal of $5 million, 2,000 participants and over 8,000 donors.
You can get involved in Bounce Back from Cancer™ by registering, donating or inviting family, friends and colleagues to support you on a fun-filled day of activities, all to benefit this very important cause.

Funds raised are supporting cancer research and patient clinical trials that advance lifesaving cures and life-changing outcomes. These trials and research will translate the high-impact discoveries made in our labs to outstanding patient care at the Institute. Your generosity is currently funding clinical trials in radiation oncology, gynecologic oncology, hematology, medical oncology and surgical oncology, impacting hundreds of patients.
