Below is important information for you broken down into 2 categories: Fundraising Info and Event Details.

FUNDRAISING INFORMATION:

Although fundraising is not required, we strongly urge you to do so - we made B Strong On-Demand donation only registration to allow as many as possible to participate & fundraise. Our goal is still to fund a complete year of integrative cancer care at BCH!!.

If you haven't done so already, please personalize your 2020 B Strong Ride fundraising page here and begin as soon as possible. The best way to get started is to share why you're riding, upload photos and set a fundraising goal. You'll inspire others to take action, and together we'll make a difference.

HOW TO DO B STRONG ON-DEMAND!!:
(LOTS OF EVENT DETAILS HERE. PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY!)

ADVANCE INFO
1. Download and Install the app: Ride with GPS from App Store (Apple)or Ride with GPS from Google Play (Android)

2. Create an account. (any level, including free account)

3. Click this invitation to the B Strong On-Demand event on Ride with GPS. You’ll then have access to your choice of the 3 ride routes, including downloading turn-by-turn navigation for offline use.

4. We’ll mail you a paper map and B Strong multi-function neck gaiter. Please use it as a face mask when you ride the event (At this point we are mailing these every couple of days).

5. You can ride B Strong On-Demand any day from Saturday, August 8 – Friday August 21.

RIDE DAY & APP INFO
1. All routes start and finish at Celestial Seasonings at 4600 Sleepytime Drive.

2. You may park your car at Celestial Seasonings in the designated lot. Vehicles are left at owners’ risk.

3. Please note that Celestial’s Covid protocol restricts any access to their buildings – meaning no access to restrooms, water etc. Apologies, but please plan accordingly.

4. If you do not ride the entire course, the app will not list you as having completed the event.

5. If you ride off the ride route, the app will beep to advise you, but does not provide navigation back to the route.

6. Turn your phone volume ALL THE WAY UP!

7. The app includes information about where to find water, food (for purchase)**, restrooms, etc. on the tour route.

8. ** Your B Strong B Strong On-Demand registration includes a free cookie on us at Jackleggers in Ward (68-mile ride) and Mountain Fountain in Hygiene (68 & 31 mile rides). Just show them your B Strong app and they’ll give you a cookie! (Other food is available for purchase.)

9. PLEASE REMEMBER B STRONG ON-DEMAND IS AN UNSUPPORTED EVENT on open roads with vehicular traffic present, and it includes no route marking, traffic control, aid stations, sag vehicles, medical support, etc. Like always when you ride on your own, you’re responsible for your own safety, so obey traffic control devices, yield to vehicle traffic, and please ride with your own safety in mind!
