Puget Sound Buddy Walk 2025 supporting Down Syndrome Center of Puget Sound

Gather your team and join us for a joyful morning at the zoo! The Puget Sound Buddy Walk brings together over 2,500 people from across the entire state to walk in support of individuals with Down syndrome. The Buddy Walk is all about creating awareness, celebrating inclusion, and all that people with Ds have to offer.
The Down Syndrome Center of Puget Sound (DSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving people with Down syndrome (and other I/DDs) and their families from birth through adulthood. We provide over 15 different programs for individuals with Down syndrome, which include but are not limited to OT and SLP therapy services, academic support, parent education courses, life skills classes, and social events.
The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Since then, Buddy Walks have become a beloved tradition across the country, raising awareness and vital funds for local Down syndrome organizations. It has been a day to come together, celebrate, and lift up the voices of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Every dollar raised through the Buddy Walk goes directly towards life-changing services at DSC.
When you join us at the zoo or simply donate, you’re investing in the lifelong support and education for people with Down syndrome across the Puget Sound region.
