Build-a-Thon Supporting LifeWise StL Youth
About Build-a-Thon
The LifeWise StL Build-a-Thon is a fundraising campaign geared to continue building a brighter future for youth in St. Louis. Our goal is to raise $250,000 to fund the purchase of new passenger vans for transporting youth to and from our after-school programs as well as the construction of a garage on the LifeWise StL property to house and protect the vans.
LifeWise Academy, Academy Prep, and Young Scholars after-school programs support numerous K-12 students with a nurturing environment in which they receive academic help, learn healthy habits, and gain access to experiences they would not otherwise be afforded. Many of these students depend on the programs’ safe, reliable transportation to and from LifeWise StL daily.
The Build-a-Thon campaign will run November 1-30, and donations of all sizes are welcome. We appreciate your support as we work toward achieving our goal!

How Your Support Makes a Difference
Providing transportation is essential as many parents have limited access to transportation. Due to budget and staffing constraints, many schools do not provide buses to transport children to LifeWise StL. Without transportation, parents are faced with an impossible choice between getting their children the additional support they need or reducing the hours they can work.
