About UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation

The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) offers timely financial support to families, so they can focus on what is most important – improving the quality of life of their child, families like Savannah. Savannah was diagnosed with lift-threatening food allergies at only 9 months old. She has been working with a food tolerance induction program to help reduce the risk to her life if she comes in contact with a food that can cause her to have a deadly reaction. Thanks to several grants from UHCCF she is able to continue with the program, and ensure that she will be safe.

UHCCF grants help with medical expenses not covered, or not fully covered, by their commercial health insurance.

UHCCF is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides medical grants to help children gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their family’s commercial health insurance plan. Families can receive up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child), and do not need to have insurance through UnitedHealthcare to be eligible.

Since 2005, UHCCF has awarded more than 34,000 grants valued at over $70M to children and their families across the United States. UHCCF’s funding is provided by contributions from individuals, corporations, and UnitedHealth Group employees.
