In celebration of our mission’s 78th birthday, and the thousands of possibilities we have witnessed become reality, we are proud to share Turnstone’s story as told through snapshots of Alfred’s, Mason’s and Cami’s daily life, and accompanied by Edgar Allan Guest's original poem, “It Couldn’t Be Done.”

October 5th, 2021 is Turnstone's 78th Birthday and our wish is to raise $78,000 in honor of clients we are able to serve because of Champions like you!
People like Alfred, Cami and Mason--featured in our brand new video below--have been living their fullest lives for nearly eight decades because of the programs and services offered at Turnstone. This is only possible because of the support from our community since our founding in 1943.
Your gifts made tomorrow will be matched dollar for dollar up to $22,500 thanks to our generous partners PNC Bank, Steel Dynamics, Inc. and Sweetwater & Chuck and Lisa Surack.
At Turnstone, we want to ensure that vital therapies are available to all people with disabilities.
More than half of our clients have annual family incomes under $35,000. More than 90% of these families have limited insurance or resources for coverage of catastrophic disabilities. Even those who have adequate insurance may run out of coverage after only a few months, when they may require years of therapy to regain their independence.
Your support helps us ensure our doors stay open for another 78 years and our services accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
