Guest Speaker: Candice Bain, Psy. D., Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Resident, Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center
Candice Bain, Psy.D. is a neuropsychology postdoctoral resident at Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, CA. She works in the inpatient rehabilitation unit as part of the interdisciplinary team, addressing the psychological, emotional, and cognitive needs of patients recovering from a variety of neurological conditions. Her role includes conducting neuropsychological assessments and providing brief supportive psychotherapy for adjustment to disability, utilizing tailored psychological interventions to enhance patient rehabilitation outcomes. Additionally, she collaborates closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as doctors, to integrate psychological support into the overall rehabilitation plan. She graduated from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
