Chefs Cycle 2026 supporting No Kid Hungry

I’m riding Chefs Cycle 2026 because no child should ever go hungry, and every mile I pedal helps feed a kid who needs us. I may not hit all 200 miles, but I’m aiming for 100 — and your support and donations are the fuel that will keep me training, pushing, and showing up for these kids.
I’m pedaling in Chefs Cycle 2026 because hungry kids shouldn’t have to wait for adults to get their act together. Food insecurity isn’t an abstract issue for me — it’s the thing I fight every single day in my kitchens, in my community, and in every CACFP meal we send out. I’ve seen the difference one good meal can make in a child’s life, and I believe every kid deserves to feel cared for, nourished, and seen.
Now, will I be riding all 200 miles?
Let’s be honest: probably not. I’m human… and also a chef who thinks “carbs are training fuel.” My goal is at least 50 miles a day — 100 miles total — and for someone whose idea of cardio is running a catering order to the loading dock, that’s basically the Tour de Arkansas.
Here’s where you come in.
Training is hard. Fundraising is harder. But knowing that each dollar raised means another kid gets a meal they can count on? That’s the part that pushes me back onto the bike when my legs are yelling “absolutely not.”
Your donations don’t just support No Kid Hungry — they literally encourage me to keep going, to push, to train, and to show up for kids who need us most.
We can’t fix everything, but we can make sure a child doesn’t go to bed hungry.
That’s why I ride.
And I’d be honored if you rode with me — in spirit, in support, or in cheering me on when I inevitably question my life choices on mile 47.
Let’s feed these kids. Let’s do some good. And let’s do it together.
