Join Sunflower House and other community members as we raise critical funds and awareness for the 14th annual Circle of Safety Fundraiser. UPDATE!!! This event has gone virtual!
Our traditional Circle of Safety Breakfast event has transitioned into a virtual, peer-to-peer 6 week fundraising campaign. While the platform is new, the concept is the same. We need dedicated community members to join our campaign as ambassadors and make a pledge to raise important funds over the 6 week period by using their personal and professional networks as well as their social media network!
Although the format has changed, Sunflower House is still committed to providing the community with inspiring stories of resiliency and healing, while highlighting Sunflower House’s mission and story of hope.
Each ambassador will have the ability to create their VERY OWN fundraising page, which provides the platform to raise $ the best way for them! Ambassadors can share their pages digitally via email, social media and personal websites or use the page to create a special event, that is only limited by your imagination! (Examples: girls night in, cocktail party, cut-a-thon).
The unrestricted money raised through this campaign will be used to further the mission of Sunflower House and provide abuse prevention, intervention, and therapeutic services to the children and families in our community.
Here’s where we could use your help! We are in need of ambassadors that would be willing to host their own personal fundraising effort. There is no cost associated with this – we simply ask that you pledge to raising $2,000 however you can. Sunflower House will provide you with your own fundraising page, tips for helping you raise as much $ as possible, along with videos and images to help tell the story of Sunflower House throughout the campaign

It takes courage for each child to tell his or her own story. Sunflower House provides a safe environment for children to tell, caring adults to listen to their stories and opportunities to bring together the community to help in these efforts. Sunflower House also provides proactive educational programs throughout the community in an effort to stop the cycles of abuse.
Each donation helps spread our mission to children living in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties.
Sunflower House serves many children who have been victims of abuse as well as educates many more with the hope of keeping them from being a victim. Providing the programs and services that Sunflower House does for the children in our community requires ongoing financial support. To meet this end, Sunflower House has launched the PETALS OF PROMISE, a monthly giving program, to provide for this basic support. By becoming a member of this program, your monthly donation will help form a source of income that Sunflower House can count on to support the services provided for children. We invite you to join us a monthly donor and be a Petal of Promise in the life of a child.
