Race to Cure Sarcoma – FAQ
How do I fundraise?
Once you’re signed up, there are plenty of great ways to fundraise:
Share your online fundraising page with friends and family via email, Facebook or Twitter to let them know you are participating in the RTCS Cleveland walk/run event.
Tell your story – You may know someone that has faced sarcoma or you may be doing this because it is a great cause and you want to make a difference. You have a story to tell.
Encourage your friends to sign up and create a dream team! As a virtual event, your team can participate in different parts of the country or the world.
Does your employer have a matching program? Do they support efforts for happier, healthier employees? See if they’ll match the funds that you raise or donate.
Just ask! Your friends and family like to support you and the things that matter to you. Ask them to give just a little and watch it all add up, just like taking that first step!
My friend made a donation on Facebook, why can't I see it on my fundraising page?
Where is the event being held? Where do I park? Can I bring my pet? What time does it start?
Event day information like this can be found under the "About the Event" tab on the top menu.
How do I get that cool blue Champion shirt?
All individuals who raise $100 or more will be given our special Champion tech shirt as recognition for your effort and support. Be sure to tell your team members that each person must have $100 in donations on their own page in order to get the shirt. Thank you for your energy and dedication!
I want to get my company to sponsor the event. I'd like some flyers or posters to help promote the event.
Thank you! We will take all the help we can get! Please email us at ClevelandRTCS@curesarcoma.org
