We are inspired to raise funds because all kids matter, they are our future!

It’s that simple. A fraternity brother and his wife, both longtime family friends, called me last Fall. Their son, Logan had cancer. I’ve known this kid since he was a baby. When Logan learned about Clips for Cancer he told me then that he wanted to shave my head. So here I am. I can’t say no. But Logan also has 90 plus friends he’s made on the unit – all cancer kids like him that need your help. I see the need every day in my job.

My role for Lee Health is focused on working with elected officials to strengthen the system for the people we serve. The stories of our remarkable patients, staff, nurses, and doctors are truly incredible. I have the opportunity to share their experiences with elected representatives, community leaders, and their staff to carry the mission of bringing home resources from Congress and the State Capitol back to SWFL! Working for Lee Health as our Vice President of Government Relations is a true honor because of who we serve.

The fighters I'm hoping to earn your donation for truly deserve your support. We are trying to expand pediatric resources to help brain cancer patients get surgery at Golisano instead of traveling to Miami or Tampa. We've increased our services for teens and young adults and added an adolescent and young adult lounge. We recently built 3 more treatment rooms and a virtual reality chemo infusion room in Naples to help keep care closer to home. Even smaller wins like getting a slushie machine for pediatric oncology patients or sending them to specialized summer camps make a big difference in their care journey. All of these critical resources are only possible because of your donations and community support. Sidenote my shaver Logan helped raise the money for that slushie machine. He’s a strong young philanthropist. I can’t let him down. I NEED YOU TO DONATE!

The team of doctors and nurses that care for our kids with cancer get few breaks from their critical work. Clips for Cancer is something that celebrates their lifesaving work and celebrates our kids that have fought and won the battle against cancer. I encourage anyone reading this to consider helping make the reality of these pediatric cancer patients a little brighter. Please share hope and inspiration in the form of a donation that equals lifesaving resources.
