Walk Run Ride for Childhood Cancer CANADA

The week of May 8 – 15, 2021, Coinamatic employees, their families’ and their friends, are going to Walk, Bike or Run to raise funds for Childhood Cancer Canada.
Participants can Walk, Bike or Run their distance from anywhere they please. Participate individually or as part of a team (physical distancing of course)!

Coinamatic specializes in providing laundry equipment and payment systems for shared laundry rooms in multi-residential housing, as well as providing on-premise commercial laundry equipment for a variety of markets including long term care, assisted living & retirement communities, hotels & hospitality, healthcare facilities, gyms, salons & spas, firehalls, laundromats, etc.
Since 2012, through ongoing fundraising and payroll deduction programs, Coinamatic employees have contributed to post-secondary scholarships for survivors of childhood cancer across Canada. Coinamatic employees strongly believe in Childhood Cancer Canada’s objectives of education, connectivity and community for youth battling cancer. We are proud of each and every child’s life we touch. Coinamatic continues to campaign and raise funds to assist children who have struggled with this disease, with their post-secondary education!
Our goal is to support and bring awareness to the Foundation’s initiatives and successes.
Childhood Cancer Canada support families across the country who have been impacted by childhood cancer with programs that include: Empower Packs, provided to children newly diagnosed with cancer; the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, for Canadian childhood cancer families in active treatment who have been financially impacted by the current crisis; Survivor Scholarships, for childhood cancer survivors with post-secondary academic aspirations; and the Benevolent Fund, that provides financial assistance to help a family cover the costs of their child's funeral. The Foundation is also the primary charitable funding partner of clinical trials and childhood cancer research for C17, comprised of leading pediatric oncologists and hematologists in Canada.
