Special Olympics Colorado is dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them achieve their full potential and experience the joy of sports. Through the power of sport, Special Olympics Colorado promotes inclusion, empowers athletes, and fosters a sense of community. We believe that every athlete, regardless of ability, should have the opportunity to participate in sports and be celebrated for their achievements.

Founded in 1968, Special Olympics Colorado has served thousands of athletes across the state, providing them with the tools, support, and encouragement they need to succeed both on and off the field.

We currently support over 28,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities across Colorado.
