Join the Fight Against Colorectal Cancer

I'm participating in the 2020 Colon Cancer Challenge to support The Colon Cancer Foundation's work to create a world without colorectal cancer. I am asking you to support this great organization by making a donation or joining us on March 29, 2020 @ Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island, New York City.

I first became involved with the Colon Cancer Foundation (CCF) through their annual run/walk event in Central Park in 2013. I joined the run in support of my childhood best friend, Dana, who became a colon cancer survivor at age 22.

In 2014, I was contacted by the CCF about becoming involved in the formation of a Young Leadership Board in NYC to target and raise awareness among young professionals.  As a member of the YLB, I have been introduced to so many strong and inspirational people dedicated to colon cancer awareness and prevention.

The funds we raise allow us to build public awareness of colorectal cancer (CRC) including early age onset of hereditary colorectal cancer and the importance of timely screening and prevention.  These funds also allow us to help sponsor prevention programs in and around New York City including colonoscopy screening efforts for the uninsured and underserved.

Thanks for considering a donation to this very important cause. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer of women and men in the US. BUTT, it doesn't have to be... Get the Facts, Talk To Your Doctor and Get Screened.
