About Crimsons Against Cancer 2020

Given the current circumstances around COVID-19, this event will be postponed. Please check back for more information and continue to fundraise for Norton Children's Hospital!

Crimsons Against Cancer is a philanthropy event hosted by students at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky. The event brings together community members and Manual students to celebrate patients of Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, affiliated with the University of Louisville, and their families. During the five-hour event, more than 100 students raise money, play games, dance — and most important — celebrate with those who have been helped by their support. In 2019, the event raised more than $5,000. This year, students are hoping to raise $10,000 for patients treated at Norton Children’s Cancer Institute. Join us in the fight against pediatric cancer by donating today!

Why Participate?

Have fun while giving back!

Crimsons Against Cancer hopes to raise money for Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, which provides quality, compassionate cancer care for children from Kentucky, Southern Indiana and beyond.

Norton Children’s Cancer Institute was formed by combining the resources of the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Norton Children’s Hospital and Norton Cancer Institute, in affiliation with the University of Louisville.

Patients throughout the region have access to the latest advancements in pediatric cancer care and programs through Norton Children’s Cancer Institute.

About the Cause

Norton Children’s provides a complete range of medical services dedicated to compassionate, skilled care for all children, without regard to their families’ ability to pay. Norton Children’s facilities serve more than 185,000 patients each year from all over Kentucky and parts of Southern Indiana.

Norton Children’s Hospital has a pediatric intensive care unit and one of the country’s largest Level IV neonatal intensive care units. And as the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Louisville School of Medicine, the hospital enjoys a strong partnership with the medical academic community.
