Cancer Ski Out

Let's kick Cancer to the curb!

I joined this organization as the Executive Director this year for very personal reasons.  My Dad recently beat Prostate Cancer and both of my Aunts have survived Breast Cancer.  I also grew up on the mountain with my Dad being on Ski Patrol.  I spent many a days up at Timberline and Ski Bowl skiing, in the lodge and at our cabin in Government camp.  It was a great fit for me to jump in with this organization and the amazing board leading the charge.  We all have a cancer story to share and I want to support all of these amazing partners in hopes of less stories for us all.  Let's beat Cancer together!  F**K Cancer!

Knight Cancer Institute:  Researching causes and cures for cancer
Providence Hospice:  Providing compassionate home care and family support for terminally ill patients
Providence Hospice of the Gorge:  Providing compassionate home care and family support for terminally ill patients
Candlelighters:  Supporting programs for children with cancer and their families
Breast Friends:  Ensuring that no woman goes through cancer alone.  Providing resources for women, their families, friends, co-workers and community, minimizing the fear and isolation of cancer.
Camp Erin:  Providing children and teens who have experienced the death of someone close to them a traditional camp combined with grief education and emotional support.

The Oregon Cancer Ski Out is a non-profit organization and classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c)3 of the IRS code. Our tax ID number is 93-1284874 and contributions made to this event are tax-deductible.
