Radiothon 2021

What is Radiothon

For over 25 years, 680 The Fan has been Atlanta’s first and biggest sports talk station!  With over 158 years of Atlanta Sports Radio experience in its starting lineup, 680 The Fan is the preeminent sports station in the Southeast. 680 The Fan dedicates one day each summer to raising money for Camp Twin Lakes’ camper scholarship program. From 7:00AM through 7:00PM, the 680 The Fan team broadcasts their typical sports coverage sprinkling in camper and parent interviews, donation incentives, and stories from camp.

Normally held at our Rutledge campsite, our 2021 event will be on-location broadcasting from The Battery and 680 The Fan studios. The day will include a Community Engagement event in the morning and additional opportunities to engage with the community, our campers, and 680 listeners.

What is Camp Twin Lakes

For nearly 30 years, Camp Twin Lakes has provided life-changing camp experiences to thousands of Georgia's children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges. Camp Twin Lakes provides week-long summer camps and year-round weekend retreats at two fully-accessible and medically-supportive campsites, and through hospital-based Camp-To-Go programs across the state of Georgia.

Camp Twin Lakes collaborates with more than 60 nonprofit organizations, each serving a different population, to create customized programs that teach campers to overcome obstacles and grow in their confidence and capabilities. Annually, Camp Twin Lakes serves nearly 10,000 campers, leverages support from 3,700 volunteers, and subsidizes 70% of the direct camp costs ($550) for every camper served.
