Why Support Darkness to Light?
Darkness to Light has trained over 2.2 million adults on how to prevent and recognize child sexual abuse and we are just getting started...
We believe that protecting children is an adult’s responsibility, and that through awareness, education, and stigma reduction, children can grow up happy, healthy, and with their boundaries intact.
Your support of our 2024 NYC Marathon runners will fund the creation and distribution of our adult-focused prevention training, proven to change behavior and create safer spaces for children.

Darkness to Light is proud to be an Official Charity Partner of the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.
As a charity partner, we received five entry spots for the race on November 3, 2024. Our team will raise funds to support Darkness to Light and our mission to equip and empower adults to build safe environments that protect children from sexual abuse. Each runner has the fundraising goal of $3,000.
