The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon

I am originally from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands but currently live in San Jose, CA. I come from a very large family that enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with each other.

I am excited to be part of team Darkness to Light and help bring awareness to child sexual abuse. I started my run journey over 20 years ago as a way to be healthy. Now I’m honored and excited to use running for a cause that affects many, and to make a difference for children that oftentimes have no voice. My desire to run for team Darkness to Light stems from my desire to see more offenders be brought to justice. It is my hope that this makes even more people aware of the battle many children face alone and in silence.

I am currently a full-time student after foregoing my Librarian position at a Charter School in San José. I enjoy time with my family and friends, hiking and most things music related.
