Dancing with the Stars Arizona 2024

Michael Aragon has spent his professional career caring for, and working with, people with kidney disease. As a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Michael was a founding partner and President of North Texas Kidney Consultants – DFW for 14 years where he counseled and treated patients with chronic and end stage kidney disease. During his time in practice, Michael helped patients needing dialysis to realize greater freedom and control of their lives by performing their dialysis at home. Throughout his career, his clinical research has centered on the expansion and improvement of home dialysis options for people with kidney disease. Over the past 5 years, he has continued his mission serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Outset Medical where he works with engineers, nurses, patients, and physicians to make home dialysis technology safer and easier for all patients.

 
Michael received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his three children – Aiden, Tatum and Cannon and his two dogs Cinco and Chula, playing golf, watching sports and, for the last few months, splitting his time between Fort Worth, Texas and Scottsdale, Arizona learning how to salsa. Dr. Aragon volunteers his time with the ESRD Network, the Foundation for Kidney Patients and now is stretching well beyond his comfort zone dancing for dollars and raising money during the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona’s 2024 Dancing with The Stars Arizona, Feathers and Fantasy.
