From the outset of her nursing career in 2009, Lincy Maldonado has orchestrated a journey that seamlessly intertwines compassion and healing. Achieving a Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in 2015, she directs her skills toward the care of Disabled Veterans, embodying an enduring commitment to their well-being.
Beyond the local healthcare setting, Lincy has extended her reach globally through humanitarian medical missions to Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Her dedication to service transcends geographical boundaries, leaving a lasting impact on communities far and wide.As Captain in the Army Reserves, she not only commands authority but also takes the lead in life-saving initiatives. While deployed to Kuwait and Jordan in 2022, she initiated a Bone Marrow registry program in collaboration with Salute for Life, showcasing her unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference. Furthermore, during her mobilization in 2021 to Ft. Bliss, Texas, she spearheaded a holiday toy donation drive for the El Paso Child Crisis Center highlighting her commitment to giving back to the community.
Actively engaged in community causes, she plays an instrumental role as a member of the Junior League of Phoenix. Volunteering with Camp Kidney 2023, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Almost There Shelter, she lends her compassionate touch to initiatives that extend beyond the realm of healthcare.
When she's not working and dancing, Lincy enjoys traveling, painting, playing the piano, and going for hikes. Her loyal dog, Tobey, adds joy and playfulness to her life.Motivated by her impactful experience at Camp Kidney, Lincy found inspiration to join Dancing with the Stars Arizona, driven by a heartfelt desire to extend joy and create positive impacts not only in healthcare but also to send more kids to camp, fostering an environment of happiness and well-being.
