Our Impact

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
All kids deserve a safe place to go after school, a place where they are encouraged and challenged to
be the best version of themselves. They deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what
they can achieve under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential. The Y achieves
this through child development, swimming lessons, sports, leadership development, fitness programs,
and camp.

HEALTHY LIVING
We help people and families build and maintain habits for a healthy spirit, mind and body in their
everyday lives through health & wellness memberships, senior fitness/social programs, and diabetes
prevention programs. Our programs are designed to meet each member where they are and provide
ways to be their best.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
We bring together people from all backgrounds and support those who have unique needs through
adaptive programs for developmentally and physically disabled youth and adults. In addition, we
work with community partners to collect necessities through drives like winter coats, canned goods,
backpacks, and more.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
The Y is made up of people of all ages and from every walk of life working side by side to strengthen
communities. Together we work to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, age, cultural background,
ethnicity, faith, gender, gender identity, ideology, income, national origin, race or sexual orientation has
the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

YOUR DONATION’S IMPACT – Tri-Town YMCA
Dana’s Story

My three grandchildren attended camp this past summer and they had an amazing time. My oldest grandchild is 5, and the
twins are 4, and we are so happy that we were able to send them to camp. They truly had a great time, when they came home, they always had a story to share and were usually all very tired from all their activities that day. I believe camp helped the twins get ready for kindergarten, which they just started last month. Camp helped the kids be part of an organized team, and learn necessary skills that aid them each day in school. We did receive a partial scholarship from the YMCA that we are very grateful for. As you might imagine, camp is not inexpensive, and I don’t think we would have been able to financially support camp as well as our other bills without the assistance of the YMCA.

I want to humbly say thank you to the camp and all of the staff for all of your hard work and dedication to the children and
the parents. I want to say thank you for all you did in making sure my grandchildren had a memorable summer; I could not
have done this without the help of the YMCA.

Sincerely, Dana
