1 in 12 children in the U.S. will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18. The burden of bereavement disrupts family dynamics, strains social relationships, and emotionally isolates grieving children.
Experiencing a significant death loss during childhood often results in profound stress and adversity. Without appropriate support, this experience can derail a child's development.
The good news is - you can help provide grief relief to the 6 million children.
Comfort Zone Camp serves children who have lost a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or friend. All programs are offered at no cost to families.
Since 1999, CZC has helped 21,000+ children.
You will provide a child with a community that understands their pain and teaches them how to cope in healthy ways.
There has never been a more important time to help.
Host a dinner party, organize a workout class, create a dance-a-thon, or design a memorial & tribute page for a loved one.
You can set a goal, track progress, and encourage and thank the supporters.
Share with your friends, family and co-workers.
