South Bay Chapter

Grab a leash and have fun!

As the oldest Canine Companions chapter, the South Bay Chapter has a 30+ year history of raising funds to support the Canine Companions mission to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.

We pioneered Bay Area DogFest as a way to celebrate the joy of the human-canine bond for all dogs and their people - pets and service dogs alike.  Join us online on October 30 as virtual DogFest expands throughout the Northwest with a Facebook costume contest and other Halloween events, then join us in person October 31 at Jack London Square for the return of our in-person festival!

"My service dog literally opens doors to the world."  "My dog saved my life."  "My dog is my best friend."  These words from Canine Companions graduates show the incredible impact these dogs have transforming the lives of people with disabilities.  We need YOU to help us reach our goal of raising the funds necessary to provide a fully trained service dog to a child, adult, or veteran with a disability.  You can donate to the South Bay Chapter team, or support the fundraising efforts of an individual member of our vibrant community of volunteers and graduates.
