In The Huddle With Dream On 3

Dream On 3 creates sports-themed experiences for those, ages 5-21, who are living with a life-altering condition.

These sports dreams come to life by customizing V.I.P. experiences with a favorite athlete, sports team, or sporting event.

The organization was built on the concept of the sports huddle... all hands in! They believe that by bringing the healthcare, business and sports communities together, we can work together as one team and make the impossible possible.

Help us hit our goal to fill a Dream Box for sweet Ethan!

Ethan was born on July 22, 2019 at South Miami Hospital and was immediately transferred to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where he underwent his first heart surgery just 8 days later.  Ethan’s parents knew about his heart condition before he was born and made the decision to have him in Miami for this specific procedure.

Ethan has a rare congenital heart disease called Shone Complex

  • Supravalvular mitral membrane
  • Parachute mitral valve
  • Subvalvular aortic stenosis
  • Coarctation of the aorta

Ethan has proven to be a warrior since the day he was born!  After his first surgery – he came home to his grandparents’ house in Miami where mom and dad could not believe how quickly he recovered!  After almost a month away, they drove back to their home to begin their life as a family of 3!

Ethan’s second open-heart surgery was November 4, 2020 at Boston Children’s to repair his mitral valve.   Ethan spent over 2 weeks at the hospital for this surgery as he contracted an infection, but in true Ethan fashion, he fought hard and was back to himself in no time!

Ethan is such an amazing kiddo – he loves to play sports, watch sports, play games, have sleepovers and does everything a five-year-old kiddo does!  For those who know him – you know he's silly, talkative and just the cutest kid around.

Even with these surgeries – it has not impacted his joy of life. Ethan’s parents are super popular and have activities lined up for Ethan every weekend!

Ethan’s third open-heart surgery is taking place on September 26, 2024 at Boston Children’s Hospital in order to resect tissue under the aortic valve. We know his warrior spirit will help him get back to Atlanta quickly and back to his normal schedule!
