Can you imagine a child you know having to take 50-70 pills a day just to stay alive? Going on dialysis several times a week? Never being able to leave their parents’ side due to medical risk? This is a reality for kids with Kidney Disease, whose childhood is a very different experience from most of their peers. I can only imagine the emotional toll it takes on them, their siblings, and their parents. The National Kidney Foundation of Arizona provides an amazing, medically monitored and supported outdoor camp that allows children 2 days of childhood experiences and freedoms that most people take for granted. Everything the Foundation does is crucial and important work, but THIS tugs at my heartstrings and I HOPE will tug at your purse strings as well! $5, $500, $5000 – any amount makes a difference so please give what you can!

If at all possible, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU IN THE AUDIENCE, so please consider BUYING A TICKET.  Your smiling face is a great motivator! I know from experience this is event is a swanky BLAST and I promise if you buy a ticket you will be highly entertained.  Fine Dining, a fabulous time, and a chance to glam it up.  Most importantly, your ticket cost of $500 provides rides to dialysis, free public health screenings, and utility bill support, and supports the terrific CAMP KIDNEY.

ABOUT ME:

Originally from Boise, ID and one of five children, I earned a dual degree in Computer Science and Film & Video Studies from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).  I found and married a wonderful, generous man who is a top-notch entrepreneur and philanthropist. We moved to Arizona almost 15 years ago. He is a founder and the CEO of Offerpad, an online real estate company. We have two beautiful passionate children ages 6 and 3 who motivate everything we do. I’m the Chief Technology Officer and on the board of Elevation Home Energy Solutions, a company focused on solutions for the residential home energy experience.  Our company’s strongest asset has always been our people, and our motto is to “Elevate the World We Live In.” I am fortunate to work for and help grow a company which sincerely maintains that focus every day. I love good stories, problem solving, and wicked humor. Brian and I enjoy supporting and volunteering for organizations that have a positive local impact; particularly those that support the healthy growth and development of our youth. We are proud and honored to support the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona.

Ballroom dancing is totally new to me. I love it - but I’m terrified!
