Dancing with the Stars Arizona 2023 supporting National Kidney Foundation of Arizona

Jerry began his professional career doing pioneering computer work in the aerospace industry. He then went to law school at ASU and spent most of his legal career as the civil prosecutor of one of Arizona's most notorious and dangerous land fraud mobsters. He left practicing law to develop commercial real estate including co-developing the Camelback Esplanade and operated the Rawhide Western theme Park, among other business endeavors.
At the age of 48, he went back to ASU, spent two years mostly doing graduate studies in English literature and afterwards started the Lodestar Foundation (www.lodestarfoundation.org), where he has spent most of his time ever since. Some of Lodestar's Phoenix projects include the Lodestar Alternative Dispute Resolution Center at the ASU College of Law, the Lodestar Center for Nonprofit and Philanthropic Innovation, also at ASU and the Lodestar Day Resource Center at the Phoenix Human Services Campus. Beyond his work at Lodestar, Jerry is actively involved with organizations pursuing world peace, promoting democracy and encouraging philanthropy in others.
Jerry enjoys running, exotic hiking, adventure travel and extreme challenges, such Dancing With the Stars (with zero dancing experience) and trying to write poetry. However, his most cherished love is his family - his significant other, his six children, his twelve grandkids, his sister and her family and three great grandkids. Finally, just slightly below his family are his invaluable treasure of long-term friends and co-workers.
In addition to dancing, Jerry is challenging the men's fund-raising glass ceiling. In the 17 years that the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona has put on this event, seven women have each raised more than $100,000, but no men have . . . until now . . .with your help?
