Special Olympics Nevada is happy to announce that the Elko Polar Plunge is back!
Raise a minimum of $125 and you will receive the coveted Polar Plunge t-shirt and enjoy all the other Plunge festivities including lunch and awards. Get the thrill without the chill. If you are not a "water warrior" and don't want to get wet, register as a chicken. You'll be excused from Plunging but may be subject to a little friendly ridicule, but what the heck, you'll be dry - right?
So come make a Splash for Special Olympics and help change lives! The funds raised will support the sports, health and educational programming that Special Olympics athletes enjoy for free.
All participants under the age of 18 must provide a waiver signed by a legal guardian. Click here for the waiver.

Success on the field leads to more opportunities in daily life as the community learns about the unique abilities and contributions of our athletes. All Special Olympics programs are provided at no cost to the athletes and their families thanks to your support.
What can you Expect?
The Polar Plunge is an iconic tradition in Special Olympics in which brave supporters take a chilly winter dip to show their dedication for our athletes. Our Plunge is a family event and costumes are encouraged! You'll have a blast and feel good knowing that the funds you raise will help us change lives.
