The EFEPA is thrilled to introduce the Walk Month to NEPA! Now until October 24, 2020, help us celebrate and honor the strength of our Epilepsy Warriors.
To commemorate that strength, your efforts for the Walk to END EPILEPSY will help launch an epilepsy space right here in Northeast PA! It will be an EFEPA community center where we can gather, meet, connect and volunteer in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
All month long keep the momentum going! Get decked out in purple, track your miles as you walk your neighborhoods and community parks, and take plenty of pictures and videos to share on social media.
Then, On October 24th, join us as we walk together at Kirby Park and reflect on the past week. We will share community photos and videos, recognize top fundraisers and achievers, thank our generous sponsors, and more!
NOW is the time to make a powerful change with, and for, people living with epilepsy. Join us as we work to establish an epilepsy community space right here in our backyard and build the next chapter in NEPA!
We Walk to END seizures, END silence, END stigma, END fear, END isolation... Now let's walk for a new beginning. Help us take our community efforts to END EPILEPSY to the next level by raising funds to open a brand new NEPA Epilepsy Community Space!
Please note, the EFEPA will observe current guidelines when moving forward with the Walk to END EPILEPSY – NEPA in-person event.
By participating in the Walk to END EPILEPSY you are not only uniting with people across the nation but igniting a spark right in your own backyard.
The Walk is non-competitive, family friendly and open to the public. It is designed to be a celebration all while raising critical funds and awareness for the EFEPA and our local epilepsy community.

Proceeds will go towards launching the brand-new NEPA Epilepsy Community Space in Wilkes-Barre, PA!
We walk to build community so that no one feels alone in their diagnosis. We walk to raise awareness and establish supportive, seizure-safe communities. We Walk to END EPILEPSY.
